SFPD sUAV Flight Map

The San Francisco Fire Department has started using drones for early reconnaissance from 911 calls. I was curious whether any flight history reporting was required. Although I couldn't find anything for SFFD, SFPD is required to report their last two years of flights. The flight paths are restricted for privacy, but they do publish a log of where flights originated. I'm still searching for SFFD reporting requirements and will update if I find anything.

I built a logger to maintain a rolling collection of the last two years of flight data. The data is sparse, but the main filtering is based on location and reason. The timeline shows the density of flights and lets you toggle between a standard dot view and a heat map variation.
